Dr. Jhonatan Clausen has received three major international distinctions

The Department of Economics is pleased to announce that Dr Jhonatan Clausen, Assistant Professor and Director of the Institute of Human Development of Latin America (IDHAL-PUCP), has recently achieved three important distinctions.

He has been awarded a scholarship by PUCP’s Academic Directorate of International Relations to undertake a postdoctoral research stay on multidimensional wellbeing measurement; he has been appointed Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), University of Bath, where he will carry out his research between January and February 2026; and he has also been named Fellow of the Human Development and Capability Association (HDCA).

These recognitions reflect Dr Clausen’s contributions to the study of human development and wellbeing, as well as the Department’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and academic excellence
